The Great Commission Collective is a group of pastors, elders, and leaders who provide wisdom, resources, support, and community to each other, training you to flourish as you lead a church or church plant.

The Great Commission

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.  —Matthew 28:19–20

Jesus gave us the Great Commission—the call to make disciples and teach them to follow what He taught us. We are stronger when we carry out this mission together— sharing an abundance of resources and collective support that promote longevity for our leaders and our churches.

The GCC’s history can be traced back to the founding of Harvest Bible Fellowship in 2001, which shared many of our same values of strong leadership, bold preaching, and planting churches—doing more together than what could be done alone.

After a series of challenging and troubling events, Harvest Bible Fellowship was dissolved in 2017. But out of this disintegration came something new—a group of leaders committed to building a new organization of gospel partnerships and churches. Out of this group, the Great Commission Collective was born.

More churches and leaders joined the movement, and in 2019, Dave Harvey was hired as president of the GCC. The focus shifted towards collaboration, strong AND healthy leadership, and training shepherd leaders marked by humility, integrity, and dependence on the Lord.

Through many faithful leaders, God kindled a new fire and gave new life through the GCC. Today, we are filled with hope as we continue to plant churches, strengthen leaders, and look toward a kingdom-focused future.
